Potions is an analog tape recording. All tracks were mixed and mastered in analog tape. To allow for analysis of analog vs digital recordings, this album includes two tracks 1) an original ProTools recording and 2) a track that is an analog/ProTools hybrid. The other 12 tracks are pure analog tape. The musicians are stellar and the music is jazz reinvented that includes POP tunes from the 1950s’ along with wonderful arrangements of jazz standards-all composed in the 50s.
